Contemplation
Sometimes we become stuck in our ways. We are all individuals, and do things according to our own personality, custom and desire. But to appreciate the beauty of life, we need to understand that there are different ways of doing things. When we are flexible, we can learn a lot from what others have to teach us.
Application
The real art of flexibility lies in appreciating everyone as an individual. This appreciation brings about natural respect for others. When I value others as unique individuals I don't expect them to mold themselves according to my desires. Instead, I am able to learn from them, and their perspective on the world.
