Contemplation
Everyone naturally works for their own benefit and that of others. But sometimes others do not seem to appreciate our contribution. This is usually because we haven't been able to recognize what they need. We tend to give what we feel is important, but this may mean ignoring someone else's needs.
Application
Someone who discerns well is able to understand other people's needs and give accordingly. Whatever that person does helps others. When I am able to help the right person at the right time, I am able to win their trust. I should expect nothing in return, but the satisfaction of helping at the right time.
