"The power of stability can transform any situation."

Contemplation

Our first reaction to a difficult situation is often negative.  There is a tendency to be carried away in strom of negative thoughts.  Such thoughts are of no use and lead us further from the solution.

Application

Thinking one postive thought everyday helps me to maintain stability.  Constant practice will help me remain stable even in the most difficult circumstances.  It enables me to prepare for any situation that comes my way, and equips me with the vigilance and tools I need to overcome difficulties.

Value : Enthusiasm

"Being constantly enthusiastic helps others progress."

Contemplation

Problems can make us feel weighed down with negative thoughts.  Heaviness of mind prevents us from moving forward with enthusiasm and then we find it difficult to help others progress.

Application

Whatever the circumstances I am faced with, I need to make special efforts to maintain enthusiasm.  Enthusiasm gives me courage, which helps me use my unique talents to benefit others.  I will then begin to discover new resources within me, which can be used for everyone's benefit.

"Lightness comes when words are accurate."

Contemplation

Sometimes it can be difficult to let others know how we feel.  We use lots of words but often find we haven't actually said much, or the other person hasn't understood our message.  Then there is a tendency to use more words, which can make the situation worse, sometimes hurting others' feelings.

Application

If will try to use words accurately, then nothing more needs to be said.  A few well-chosen words are sweet to hear, and do not hurt other.  When my words are to the point, I feel light and free.

Day 93 Value of Determination

Day 93

Value : Determination

"Success is achieved through determined effort."

Contemplation

We tend to associate success with what we get, rather than how much effort we put in.  So sometimes when things don't turn out the way we expected, we tend to think negatively because we feel unsuccessful.  This discourages us from trying again.

Application

When I am determined to succeed, I will do my best.  When others see how hard I'm working, they will help me and do whatever they can to help me achieve my goals.  When I am determined to succeed, I develop and progress, even if the result is not what was expected.
