Contemplation
When a challenge demands accurate judgment, we lend to become panicky. Many wasteful thoughts come to mind. The decisions we take in such a state of mind tend to go wrong.
Application
I need to guide my mind toward a state of calmness before making a decision in challenging situations. In order to do this, I need a long period of practice - even when the situation demands that I speed up my activities. Training the mind over a long period of time helps it to stay calm even in challenging times.
